Inkspace was built on a shared love for the creative scenes in art and fashion.

Tan having the screen-printing experience prior to our start-up was frequently asked among friends and family to print t-shirts for them. While the request built up Tino found himself helping Tan put together designs and discovering new potentials to their combined works.

Tan working as a screen printer for another company at the time, we brought on the idea “I think we can do this for ourselves bro” and that was the start to what would become Inkspace.

A year into our studies we decided to split into two different degrees to benefit our business idea. Tino would study Graphic Design, design focused, and Tan would study Graphic Technologies, print industry focused. We taught each other everything we learned on the way. After receiving their associate’s degrees in 2015 they continued to focus on their path to a screen-printing business and officially starting their LLC in 2016.
